That's hilarious!

Our candidates here aren't any better. We watched the debate between Bob Corker and Harold Ford (senate candidates) the other night, and I tell you what, it was more amusing than the presidential debates. I'm not-so-secretly glad I didn't get registered in time to vote this election. I'd feel bad no matter who I picked!

Woman! What a pleasure and honor just to send you a copy of the mag and my plodding book review -- I'd never BILL you for it! Sheesh!

When I can finally find some copies on the newsstands (I suppose I could go order some back issues, but how much more thrilling to 'pick up a copy' from B&N or Borders!), I will let you know and get your address. I'll autograph it, too, but I'll laugh while I do it.

I liked the first few chapters of Rainmaker's Wrestling that you posted a ways back. I'm sure I'll like your book. You are no John Irving (schmuck!). I've been praying for its speedy publishing.

I'm holding you to your CA promises, lady. Next year in (if not Jerusalem, then) Cally!

Yes, Rainmaker's Wrestling is still the title - will have it finished in a matter of weeks. You may not like it - I don't know. I like it. I'm not sure anyone else will get it. But thanks for the encouragement.

About the mag. I would *seriously* LOVE to have a copy of the first article you ever have in print with you autograph on it - quite historic I'm convinced. I will send you a check for the price of the mag plus cost of shipping if you send me an autographed copy. Would you consider?

I really wanted to make it to CA this fall - now I don't know. But the next time I'm out West - we'll make plans. Promise?

It's pretty exciting for me, considering I've subscribed to Liberty for more than ten years. If you cannot find it, let me know and I'll send you a copy (shameless! shameless!). Congrats, by the way, on being so close to finishing up Rainmaker's Wrestling! Is that still the title? If I were still the events manager at B&N, I'd so be bugging you for an author signing in WA!

When are you visiting your mom in CA? I'm in the mood to non-rev south on the best airline in the U.S. (or second-best, considering I'm mighty partial to Horizon Air).

I like the new site. Very nice! And yet again I'm jealous of the way you express yourself. :P
I enjoyed seeing the LIW home when I lived in Missouri (it was around 30-40 minutes from where I lived). I envied her home - I just love old farmhouses! I particularly liked her living room with it's little library. :)
